2010-07-27: Flight LH8460 - Lufthansa Cargo Flight 8460
Flight 8460 was acargo flight from Frankfurt to Hong Kong via Riyadh and Sharjah. Black smoke was reportedly coming from the aircraft whilst it was descending to land in Riyadh, before it crashed and broke in half. The aircraft bounced three times on landing. The third bounce is registered at 4.3g and caused the fuselage and main landing gear of the aircraft to fail.
